Latest Update
*1-24-2021: COVID came along and the game updates went by the wayside, but we are back to working on it. The biggest update is the name change to The Avai'en System. Other then that, some minor graphics updates, but still the same game in all that matters. Once we get all the changes to the website made, it'll be time to order the newest protoype, and then go from there.
*2-9-2020: Based on some really great feedback, from a recent game night, we have completely reorganized our booklet in hopes to make it more of do-as-you-read format. View our latest Game Manual on our "Game Manuals" page. *Protoype F is here (Hopefully for FINAL). See below for our "What's in the Box" Video. Visit our current Game Manuals Page for our latest manual. We are still working to tweak the Manual, but we think this is what our game will really look like. *We are also UciemNews as both a Facebook Group and on Instagram. Scroll to the bottom of any of our webpages for quick links to visit us on Social Media. |
About the GameStart on the Avai'en Homeworld of Avai'e and travel through the star system, discovering planets, perils, and space habitats along the way. Colonize and populate ownable quadrants to win, or turn around and expand by conquering the other players!
Technically a "Tile" game rather than a board game, it is exciting to never know what your playing space will end up looking like. In addition to the Standard Game Play, either our manual, our website, or both will include Alternate Game Plays, so that you can even play by different rules each time. Play a smaller 7x7 tile area for quicker games or with less players, or play the entire 9x9 tile area for longer play or with more players. Draw Chance Cards along the way or go higher risk / higher reward and draw a Treasure Card when the Garuda Pyramid is discovered. Earn Pops (Avai'en Currency) along the way which also serve as colonists, crew on your ship, and troops during battle. While a 2 player game is possible, it really is best for 3 to 6 players. We'll update this video to the newest version when we get the new prototype in. |
